1. Introduction
Welcome to CostaVans! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of CostaVans's Website and camper van rental services, located at costavans.es and in our physical hubs in Spain.
By accessing this website and booking our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use CostaVans if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
2. Rental Requirements
- Drivers must be at least 23 years of age and hold a valid Category B driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
- A security deposit via a valid credit card is required upon pickup of the vehicle.
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as they were rented, accounting for normal wear and tear.
3. Booking and Cancellation
A reservation is confirmed once a deposit of 30% of the total rental price has been paid. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure will receive a full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before departure will forfeit the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before departure will be charged the full rental amount.
4. Insurance and Liability
Basic comprehensive insurance with an excess of €1,000 is included in all rentals. Premium insurance packages are available to reduce the excess to €0.
The renter is responsible for any traffic fines, toll charges, and damages caused by negligence, off-road driving, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, which will not be covered by insurance.
5. Vehicle Use
Our camper vans are designed for paved roads and designated campsites. Off-roading is strictly prohibited and will void all insurance coverage. Smoking is not allowed inside any of our vehicles. Pets are only allowed in specifically designated pet-friendly vans with prior approval.
6. Modifications to the Terms
CostaVans reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time without notice. By using this website and our services, you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions.
